Day I sees us meeting up in Edinburgh where we will stay for 1 night to drink in the atmosphere of the Fringe Festival, the biggest arts festival in the world. Our journey then takes us along stunning roads through the Great Glen up to Inverness for one night. Thereafter we head west to the Applecross peninsula which is an alpine road and one of the highest in the country after which we travel over the bridge to Skye for two nights. Skye is mouth-wateringly beautiful and that is no exaggeration. Finally we travel south to Oulton park hotel in Yorkshire to break the journey for the last night.
